The Essex County Baseball Tournament, or historically, “The Greater Newark Tournament”, completed its’ first round of preliminary games. The preliminaries are the pathway for teams to obtain the 15th or 16th seed in the tournament’s main draw.
The second round of prelims are scheduled to be played on Saturday and the final round to determine those last two seeds is set for Thursday, May 4th.
