The two First Round games of the 8 team Essex County Field Hockey Tournament have been completed. Fifth seeded Mt St Dominic Academy defeated Livingston, seeded 8 to advance to the Quarterfinal Round. In the Quarterfinals, MSD will face the 4th seed, Glen Ridge.
The other First Rounder had Millburn, seeded 6th, advance past the 7th seed, Columbia. Millburn moves on to play Montclair Kimberley Academy (3).
These Quarterfinal match-ups are scheduled to be completed by Wednesday, October 8 at the higher seeded teams field.
