The Greater Newark Tournament, known as the “GNT” is Essex County’s long running baseball tournament, the oldest in the state of New Jersey. This year’s tournament was seeded by a committee of head coaches and the bracket has been set.
Six Preliminary Round games will be played by May 3rd. The First Round is scheduled for Friday, May 5th, Quarters on Wednesday, May 10th at the higher seeded team’s field. The semifinals this year will be played at Seton Hall diamond on Saturday, May 13. The championship final to be played at Verona on Saturday, May 20
