The Essex County Track & Field Championships, for boys and girls teams, is scheduled to be competed this weekend at Woodman Field, Montclair. On Friday, starting at 4pm, ten running events, beginning with the Girls Intermediate Hurdles, will be conducted. In a change from previous years both the 100 meter Trials and Finals will be held on Friday. A number of Field Events will also be held Friday including the Javelin, Boys High Jump and Girls Long Jump.

Saturday’s competition begin at 10:30am with five Field Events and twelve Running Events scheduled.

Thirty-two teams are registered for the meet.
