The 2014 Essex County Girls Lacrosse Tournament kicked off this past Saturday with two early round games. Livingston, seeded 8th, defeated the 9th seed, Millburn by a score of 16-9. Also, it was Columbia (7) moving past Montclair Kimberley Academy 7-6. The tournament now moves on to its’ Quarterfinal Round scheduled for Saturday, April 26th. Livingston faces top-seeded West Essex while Columbia travels to Montclair, the 2nd seed. The other two contests have Mt St Dominic Academy (6) at Glen Ridge (3) and Caldwell (5) at Verona (4).

The Semifinals are scheduled for Saturday, May 3rd at the higher seed and the Championship game on the following Saturday, May 10th, at Verona.
