Two familiar opponents, West Essex and Montclair, will face off next Saturday for the championship final of the Essex County Field Hockey Tournament. West Essex (1) defeated Montclair Kimberley Academy (5) by a in the semifinal match by a score of 7-0 while Montclair (3) upset Glen Ridge (2), 1-0.
The championship game will be played at West Essex’s stadium on Saturday, October 21st at 2:30PM. West Essex has won the last six County Tournaments but it was Montclair that won the 2010 championship.
