The top two seeds, University (1) and Newark Tech (2) advanced to Saturday’s ECT Girls Basketball championship final. On Wednesday evening University earned a hard fought victory over Immaculate Conception (5) while Newark Tech used the fast break to move past West Orange (3). These two will meet for the championship at Essex County College on Saturday. The game will follow the ECT Boys Championship between East Side (2) and Immaculate Conception (4) scheduled for a 1pm start.
Tickets for the championship doubleheader, sold at the door, is $10. Only ECADA issued passes shall be accepted. Super Essex Conference passes are not accepted as these are not a conference games.
