The top seeds are advancing through the brackets of both the Essex County Boys Soccer Tournament and the Essex County Girls Volleyball Tournament.
On Tuesday, at Livingston HS the boys soccer semifinals played out. Montclair (1) eliminated Montclair Kimberley Academy (5) in the first match, followed by Seton Hall Prep (2) winning over East Side (3). This sets up a face-off of the top two seeds at Saturday’s championship, 2pm at Millburn HS.
Also on Tuesday, Girls Volleyball set up its semifinals. West Essex (4) won over Montclair (12),
Millburn (3) defeated Mt St Dominic (6), Verona (2) advanced over Caldwell (10) and Livingston (1) eliminated West Orange (8). On Thursday, at Bloomfield HS, West Essex will take on Livingston at 5pm followed by Millburn playing Verona. The volleyball championship match is scheduled for 1pm on Saturday at Mt St Dominic Academy.
