In the boy’s Essex County Basketball Tournament nine teams advanced from the 1st Preliminary Round on Saturday. However they won’t have much time to savor their victory before the 2nd round. The fast moving preliminaries are scheduled next for Monday afternoon.
On the girls side there was one 1st Preliminary Round game needed. So now, also on Monday, a full slate of eight games is scheduled.
