Montclair Kimberley Academy defeated Millburn High School, four matches to one, to win the Essex County Girls Tennis Tournament. The tournament, after several days of delay due to rain, was competed at the Althea Gibson Tennis Center in Branch Brook Park.
MKA had defeated Livingston in the semifinals while Millburn had eliminated Newark Academy.
