Millburn High School repeated last year’s double victories by winning both the girls and boys Essex County Cross Country Championships at Brookdale Park, Montclair, on Friday. The boy’s squad outdistanced 2nd place Columbia by a score of 60-93 (low score wins in XC) with 3 “Millers” finishing in the top ten at 2nd, 6th and 10th. The first place champion was St Benedict’s Prep star Edwin Rutto, with a time of 15:04.

In the girl’s race Millburn’s Katie Delidow ran a personal best to win in a time of 18:04. Millburn took 3 places in the top ten of the girls race. The Millburn squad edged out runner-up Montclair.
