The Semifinal Round of the Essex County Softball Tournament was planned for Friday evening, May 13 at Ivy Hill Park. Rain created havoc with that plan as only two innings of the first semifinal game was played. There were hopes to compete the round on Saturday evening but again weather interfered. So, with hopes that “three’s a charm” to games are rescheduled for Sunday evening at the same site, Ivy Hill Park. The first pitch is set for 5pm with Nutley (3) facing Livingston (2). This game to be followed by Cedar Grove (4) paired against Mt St Dominic Academy (1).
Access to the softball stadium is through Seton Hall University as it is the university team’s home site.
