The Essex County Girls Tennis Tournament completed its’ first two rounds of competition on Tuesday at the Althea Gibson Tennis Center in Branch Brook Park. Sixteen teams started the competition, twelve have been eliminated from the main draw and have moved to the consolation bracket. The top four seeds, MKA (1), Newark Academy (2) , Millburn (3) and Livingston (4) have advanced to Saturday’s next round.
The Semifinals and Championship Final are scheduled for Saturday morning at the Althea Gibson Tennis Center.
