The First Round is now set for Saturday’s games in the Essex County Softball Tournament. The original 25 teams that entered the tournament have been paired down in the preliminaries to the round of sixteen (First Round of the main draw). Only one upset occurred in the prelims where West Caldwell Tech (20) eliminated Payne Tech (13).
