It will be the top two seeds facing off in the Championship Final of the Essex County Girls Basketball Tournament. The Lady Jaguars of East Orange Campus, seeded #1, defeated University High School on Friday night by a score of 57-15. In the nightcap it was second-seeded Montclair edging past the Lady Bulldogs of Shabazz, 44-40. This sets up the anticipated 1 versus 2 match-up. The Championship Final is scheduled for Saturday, February 21st at Newark Tech High School. Game time is 2pm. There is a General Admission for all spectators of $5.00.
