Wednesday was a beautiful day at Branch Brook Park while eighteen Essex County Girls Tennis teams squared off in the early rounds of the County Tournament. Four teams have emerged from the day’s competition to reach Saturday’s Semifinal Round.

Livingston (4) will face Millburn (1) while Veronal (6) plays Newark Academy (2). Both semifinals are scheduled for 10:30am Saturday at the Althea Gibson Tennis Center within Branch Brook Park. The championship final will be played later in the day, 2:30pm at the same site.
