The Essex County Boys Volleyball Tournament advanced to its’ quarterfinal round after completing eight first round games.
West Essex (8) defeated West Orange (9) while Livingston (1) won over Montclair Immaculate (16).
West Essex plays at Livingston in the next round.
Millburn (7) eliminated Montclair (10) as Bloomfield (2) was victorious over Barringer (15).
Bloomfield will host Millburn in this next round.
East Side (6) was the winner over East Orange (11) and now faces West Caldwell Tech (3) as Nutley (14) lost.
Belleville (5) eliminated Science Park (12) while Payne Tech (4) won over Orange (13). So Payne will host Belleville next.
The Quarterfinals are scheduled for Tuesday, May 3 at the higher seed and the Semifinals will be hosted at West Essex on Friday, May 6 at 4pm. The championship final will be played at Livingston on Friday, May 13, 5pm.
