The Essex County Boys Volleyball Tournament has released its bracket for this season’s competition. The First Round is scheduled to be played on Thursday, May 13, Quarterfinals on Tuesday, May 18, Semifinals on Friday, May 21 and the Championship match on Wednesday, May 26. This year all matches shall be competed at the court of the higher seed.
There are 13 teams entered this year, here are the initial pairings…
Livingston (1), Payne Tech (2) and East Side (3) have first round “byes”.
Irvington (13) is at Bloomfield (4)
Orange (12) plays Belleville (5)
West Essex (11) travels to Millburn (6)
Newark Tech (10) versus Montclair (7)
East Orange (9) is matched against West Orange (8)
