Two familiar foes will face off in the championship final of the 2016 Essex County Field Hockey Championship game.

In the Semifinal Round West Essex, the top seed, defeated Millburn (5) while Montclair (2) moved past Mt St Dominic Academy (3) to advance. So it will be Montclair versus West Essex to determine this year’s champion. The championship final is scheduled for this Saturday, October 15th. The yearly rotation will have the game at Montclair’s home field. Game time is set at 2:30pm.
