Seton Hall Prep was the victor in the 81st final of the Greater Newark Baseball Tournament. In a hard fought, see-saw battle the Prep defeated a tough Cedar Grove Panther squad by a score of 7-6. The final marks the ECADA’s first presentation of the championship award named in honor of New York Yankee great and long time Essex County resident Yogi Berra. The game was played before a large and representative crowd at Newark’s Bears and Eagles Riverfront Stadium.
