Seton Hall Prep edged a number of closely packed teams in a field of 15 to win the 2015 Essex County Golf Tournament sponsored by the Essex County Athletic Directors Association. The tournament, held at the Weequahic Park course, finished with the Prep having a team score of 325 followed by Newark Academy with 327, Montclair with 328, Verona at 332 and Millburn with 334.

Sam Goldenring of Newark Academy held the lowest score of 69 followed by a tie at 76 by Nutley’s Michael Purcell and Montclair’s Clifford Lindholm. Rounding out the top five were Seton Hall’s Will Lane at 78 and Zach Potten at 79.
