On the Saturday the two finalists for the Greater Newark Baseball Tournament won their semifinal contest at Porcello Field at Seton Hall Prep’s Kelly Athletic Complex. It took an extra inning, but Livingston worked out its’ win over Montclair by a score of 3-2 ( 8 innings). In the second game, Seton Hall Prep forged ahead early in eliminating Caldwell, 5-2.
The GNT championship is scheduled for Saturday, May 18 at Verona’s Doc Goeltz Field, game time is noon.
