Montclair Kimberley Academy, seeded second, defeated top seeded Milburn to win the Essex County Girls Tennis Tournament at the Althea Gibson Tennis Center at Branch Brook Park.
MKA’s path to the championship was wins over Belleville (15), Montclair (7), Newark Academy (3) and then Millburn. The last time MKA won this tennis tournament was in 2004.
