The draw for the 2025 Essex County Girls Tennis Tournament has been released. The tournament, with 17 teams entered, is set to begin on Tuesday, September 16. The site of the tournament is the Althea Gibson Tennis Center located in Newark’s Branch Brook Park. The first match, a preliminary, will have Bloomfield (17) facing Belleville (16) at 8:30am.
Tuesday will see both the First Round and Quarterfinals completed. The Semifinals and Championship matches are scheduled, weather permitting, for Saturday, September 20 at the same site.
