The preliminary round of the 2016 Essex County Girls Lacrosse Tournament has been completed with Mt St Dominc Academy (8) defeating Livingston (9) while Montclair Kimberley Academy (7) defeated Columbia (10).

The tournament now moves on to the Quarterfinal Round to be played on or by Tuesday, April 26th. Scheduled pairings are Mt St Dominic (8) at West Essex (1), Montclair Kimberley (7) at Glen Ridge (2),  Caldwell (6) at Montclair (3) and Millburn (5) at Verona (4).  All games to be played at the higher seed.

The Semifinal Round is scheduled for Saturday, April 30th at the higher seed. The Championship Final is scheduled for Saturday, May 6th at Nutley. The Final will be played as the second game of a doubleheader with the Boys Lacrosse Final played first at 2:30pm.
