The Essex County Softball Tournament eliminated several more teams on Saturday and now is ready for it’s final preliminary games to determine who enters the main draw. East Side (20) defeated Technology (21) and will face Montclair Kimberley (17) who won over Irvington (25). The winner of this game, scheduled to be played by Thursday, obtains the 15th Seed in the First Round.
Also, Glen Ridge (18) won over Barringer (23) while Bloomfield Tech (19) defeated East Orange (22). So it will be Bloomfield Tech playing at Glen Ridge to determine the 16th seed.
