The Essex County Boys Tennis Tournament is ready to begin serving top flight tennis on WEDNESDAY. (Note weather caused move from Tuesday)
With the seedings completed on Thursday evening teams are paired up to start the competition. Livingston, seeded first, along with Millburn (2), Montclair (3) and Newark Academy (4) lead the seventeen teams playing for the county title.
All matches are scheduled beginning Wednesday morning at the Althea Gibson Tennis Center in Branch Brook Park. Competition continues throughout the day to complete the Quarterfinal Round. The Semifinals and Final are set for Saturday morning, April 21 at the same site. Semifinals are scheduled for 10:30am and the championship matches at 2:30pm.
