On Saturday the Semifinal Round games of the Essex County Girls Lacrosse Tournament were played. Glen Ridge (2) defeated Montclair (3) while Verona (4) upset West Essex (1). Glen Ridge and Verona will face off for the championship trophy on Saturday, May 7th at 2:30pm at Nutley’s stadium.

In ECT Boys Lacrosse the eight team Quarterfinal Round is scheduled to be played on Tuesday.

It will be Glen Ridge (5) at Montclair Kimberley (4),

Montclair (6) at West Essex (3),

Millburn (7) at Caldwell (2),

Columbia (9) at Seton Hall Prep (1)

The Semifinals will be played on Thursday at the higher seed with the Championship Final played after the girl’s final at Nutley on Saturday, May 7.
