The Columbia Girls track program continued it’s dominance of the Essex County Track & Field Relay Championships on Friday at Livingston High School. Columbia scored 80 points winning the 4 x 1oo meter and 4 x 200 meter running events as well as the Long Jump, Triple Jump and Discus Relays. Montclair also won five events and came in second place with 68 points. Third was Millburn (60), followed by West Orange (48) and Livingston (42) topping out the top five.

On the boy’s side East Orange outdistanced Seton Hall Prep by 16 points (69-53) to take home the title. East Orange won the Intermediate Hurdle Relay, the 4 x 400 meter, 4 x 200 meter and scored well in the jumping events. Weequahic was third (47), Montclair fourth (46) and West Orange fifth (42).
