For the fifth year in a row West Essex is the Essex County Field Hockey Champion.
On a cool windy afternoon on their home field Lady Knights defeated Montclair by a score of 6 – 0. It was a classic #1 (West Essex) versus #2 (Montclair) match up but although Montclair fought hard on defense West Essex had too much firepower.
