The 2015 Essex County Softball Tournament kicked off in a big way on Thursday with eight games completed for teams competing to enter the Tournament’s First Round. In the first go round of the “Play In” bracket these were the results;

West Orange (17) over Christ the King (32)

Bloomfield Tech (18) over Central (31)

Glen Ridge (19) over Newark Tech (30)

Arts (20) over Orange (29)

East Side (21) over Immaculate Conception (28)

Science Park (22) over North 13th St Tech (27)

East Orange Campus (23) over Irvington (26)

Technology (24) over Barringer (25)

The next round in the “Play In’s” will have Technology at West Orange, East Orange at Bloomfield Tech, Science Park at Glen Ridge and East Side at Arts. These games to be played on or by Saturday, April 25th.
