The early round pairings of the 2015 Essex County Field Hockey Tournament have been seeded by the coaches but with an eye on a poor weather forecast. Three First Round games were scheduled to be played on or by this Saturday, October 3rd. However, the unfavorable weather outlook has cast doubts and changes have already been made.

The three First Round games are Columbia (7) at Millburn (6),  Newark Academy (8) at Mt St Dominic (5) and Livingston (9) at Montclair Kimberley (4). With a bit of flexibility added in, these games will needed to be completed by Tuesday.

Waiting for a Quarterfinal Round opponent is Glen Ridge, seeded 3rd while the 2nd seed, Montclair and top seed, West Essex have byes until the Semifinals.
