The 2016 Super Essex Conference’s “Cheer For the Cure” cheerleading event was held on a beautiful Thursday evening at Bloomfield’s Foley Field. Although the final tabulation is not calculated the money raised for charitable contributions will heavily add to the over $50,000 previously raised in previous years.

The West Orange squad took the award for “Best Stunting”, Nutley for “Best Dance” and Caldwell for “Most Spirited”. The division leaders were Nutley in the American Division, West Orange in the Liberty Division and Montclair in the Colonial Division.

Congratulations are due all around for the fourteen cheering squads which contributed to make the evening a fantastic success!
