Three teams have advanced from the First Round of the Essex County Field Hockey Tournament to reach the Quarterfinals. Mt St Dominic Academy (5) defeated Newark Academy (8) on Monday while Millburn (6) won over Columbia (7). On Tuesday Montclair Kimberley Academy (4) moved past Livingston (9).

This sets up the match-ups for the Quarterfinals. Glen Ridge hosts Millburn on Wednesday, Oct 7 at 4pm while Mt St Dominic travels to Montclair Kimberley on Thursday, 4pm.

The top seeds, West Essex (1) and Montclair (2) await the winners in the Semifinals.
